Friends growing up on Salt Spring Island, Katie Burke and Katy Parsons (seen here) have always been inspired by the beauty of feathers and the ability to make art with their hands. Featherettes was the brainchild of their passion.

Each Featherette is lovingly hand made with new and vintage treasures. They take pride in always offering a fresh product and keeping their designs unique. You will never find any two made exactly alike. Featherettes are timeless, ageless and not committing to any one style. They aim to be individuals in a mass produced world.

From classic hair bands to showstopping custom bridal packages (for every budget), to earrings and feather hair extensions, these two entrepreneurial divas have come up with a new twist on fashion. That’s not an easy thing to do in the age of “everythings been done”.
